Honeybush is grown on the mountain slopes of the Longkloof District (on the Eastern Cape), South Africa.  Similar in appearance to Rooibos, however, Honeybush flavor is similar to Rooibos but slightly sweeter. Honeybush flowers emit a distinct “honey” scent.   When harvesting, in order to produce the sweetest flavor, the Honeybush  plant is harvested during this flowering season.  African Honeybush contains no caffeine and can be served hot or cold. To enhance the flavor of Honeybush Tisane, add a sprig of mint, a slice of lemon, or honey.  Our recommended steeping time is less than 5 minutes.   Be sure and try Honeybush as an iced "tea".
